Cap Tremblant Hôtel De Montagne

I went there for a family wedding and we were hit with a rainstorm. We lost power right after the ceremony. Due to them not having power or a backup system in place for the potential loss of power, I had to use my saved songs on spotify (since there was no phone reception or wifi) to play music from a portable speaker my cousin brought with him. We were served cold soup, bread, and salad as entrees, and then our parents barbecued our dinner. Besides the bartenders, most of the staff were gone, so we also had to serve ourselves. After the salvaged celebration, we were asked to leave the reception hall and to somehow find our ways back to our dark and cold cabins by venturing in the pitch black outdoors. My cabin was so far, my friend allowed me to take refuge on the couch. Taking advantage of the sunrise, in the morning, I made my way to my cabin. There was still no power or running water. I brushed my teeth with the extra bottled water I came with and wiped myself down with it as well. Because there were no signs of the power returning, no accommodations by the administration, and nothing in place to keep safe or warm in my rented space, I gathered the family that traveled with me and we made our way back home. No money was refunded, no accommodation was offered, and no apologies were given. I actually had forgotten about this place until I saw that they sent me an email to rent out a cabin for another stay.

Amazing experience! We were 12 people and rented a place, the place was roomy, clean and with a great view of the mountains and nature. All of us were comfortable with the space. There was 2 and a half washrooms which was great for the amount of people in the house. The patio excellent size with a eating table. We use the fireplace and made it even more cozy. The only thing is that the parking only allows one vehicle, but there is extra parking around or at least close by. We will definitely come back. Thank you guys for ensure our stay was enjoyable.

This was always our go to cottage but our last trip was horrible. The toilet was clogged and the dishwasher flooded and the water and finally the water was shut off. The hotel expected us to fix the water ourselves. With all these issues the hotel staff were very racist and rude. There were many defects in the cottage when we checked in but we overlooked everything and then all sorts of issues started happening and we still overlooked, but when we went to ask for a late check out as the water was out for a whole night and we were not able to shower or clean our stuff the staff refused and was very racist. They kicked us out at check out time and were not able to even wash our faces or brush our teeth or even have breakfast. It saddens me to see such a beautiful cottage and beautiful views have rude and racist people managing the properties. They were not even nice about all the issues that happened.

Had a bad experience with this resort. We forgot a beach bag in our apartment. We keep calling them but they are unhelpful and saying that it was probably thrown in garbage. How could someone throw out a nice beach bag? The bag had a sentimental value for me and I am so sad. I regret the generous tip that I have left for them as well. Just an update about the response below: there were some dry snacks like chips and mix nuts in the bag but i had also umbrellas, ponchos, wine bottle opener, a jacket,… in it. So if you leave your suitcase and there is a bag of chips in it, they will probably throw everything to garbage as per their claim.
